Inside dark greyish reddish brown/deep reddish purple(200A/77A) fading to dark red (59A), at top with broad yellowish white (155D) stripe on a third of each tepal, above nectaries with some yellowish white/dark red (155D/59A), throat yellowish white (155D); outside with outer tepals yellowish white (155D), midribs strong yellow-green (144B) at base and top and some dark red (59A) spots, inner tepals yellowish white (155D), margins with dark red (59A) spots; papillae absent; nectaries strong yellow-green (144B); pollen deep orange-yellow(163C); stigma dark red (59A). Fls 115 mm wide tepals 60 × 16-27 mm, margins smooth, tips recurved. Lvs scattered, 92 × 7 mm. Stems 0.7 m, base brownish changing above into green with darker markings, and with c.4 fls.
